Platform Engineer

Division: GDC

The role:

• Analyzing, defining solutions for well-scoped platform development opportunities in line with the overall strategy with the objective to 
• Support definition of Infrastructure needs for Application teams with creation of Infra Roadmap 
• Support definition of Software platform for our STP product that contains several applications - How to shift to configuration for end users
• Being involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle from design to development, testing, and deployment.
• Designing and implementing scalable and reliable systems to support software development
• Providing operational support for the platform, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and meets the needs of the company
• Staying up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends, and continuously improve the platform to meet the changing needs of the company
• Collaborating with our Development teams to solve challenges around our software product

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science / information technology / engineering, or a comparable qualification
• ​Experience in development, deployment & operating IT solutions / services in an enterprise environment​
• Experience with .Net, TFS / Azure Devops CI/CD, Kubernetes, PowerShell (scripting, automation), familiarity with Infrastructure provisioning concepts
• Experience with Kafka, Mongo DB, SQL Server, IIB, Service Fabric is nice to have
• ​Knowledge in agile development methods is an advantage​
• Customer-orientation, an open & friendly attitude and strong collaboration skills​
• High motivation to work in a team and take over responsibility​
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
