IT Manager

Division: Group Business Solutions (GBS)

Join Euroclear’s GBS division, a team at the heart of IT transformation. We’re seeking an IT Manager for our new Poland team, supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives across the group.

Role: 

You’ll build and manage a team of IT professionals, contribute to the technical architecture and design of IT solutions, and ensure alignment and integration with various stakeholders. You’ll leverage your expertise in modern technologies like event-driven architecture and Java.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage a new team of IT professionals
• Define and review the technical architecture and design of IT solutions
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to your team
• Ensure the quality, performance, security, and scalability of IT solutions
• Collaborate with IT programme manager, business analysts, architects, and other development teams
• Support delivery planning, estimation, prioritisation, and reporting of team activities
• Identify and manage technical risks, issues, and dependencies

Qualifications:

• Experience in building and leading IT Teams
• Prior hands-on experience with Java development, event-driven architecture, and messaging technologies (Kafka, MQ, etc.)

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in the financial sector
• Previous experience of working on migration of applications to new technology
• Exposure to .net
• Service Oriented Architecture (Microservices and RESTful APIs)
• DevOps and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven, etc.)
• Cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Testing tools and frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, etc.)
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
