API COE Solution Architect

Division: Group Digital Capabilities (GDC)

The TDE (Transformation and Delivery Enablement) tribe is looking for a for a senior engineer or solution architect for its API Centre of Excellence (COE).

The API CoE objective is to enable the development of APIs within Euroclear. The hybrid operating model of the API COE will ensure that the COE acts both as an enabler and as the guardian of the foundations to ensure individual development teams can implement APIs.

In the scope of the team:

• Enable technical and infrastructure foundations. & Define governance around APIs.
• Define architecture and standards and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain our in-house .NET functional framework.
• Define and participate to the enablement of enterprise development tools.
• Train and evangelize development teams, architects, designers and business people.
• Support projects to develop APIs.

For this team we are looking for a Senior Technical or Solution Architect who is bringing deep technical knowledge to create enabling components for APIs. Combining this with business insights to deliver solutions where API will make both technical and business sense, to allow Euroclear to strengthen our API ecosystem and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Role & qualifications

• Experience in designing and implementing (REST) API
• Experience in C# and .NET framework
• Experience with IAM (OAuth2, OIDC) and security for APIs.
• Working experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
• Enable the foundations allowing Euroclear to expose APIs: framework, tooling, processes, guidelines, training.
• Supporting teams to deliver APIs all over Euroclear.
• Profound experience in every stage of the software development lifecycle.
• Ensures the refinement and translation of requirements into a structured and efficient set of functionalities.
• Define the technology architecture and direction of API.
• Drive new opportunities from a technical perspective, from the initial ideation / Proof of Concept stage, through to supporting the product delivery.
• You are considered as the reference expert within Euroclear and are able to evangelize the technology and Position API into the Euroclear ecosystem.
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, among peers, business and senior leaders within the organization, as well as the technical / development community.
• Working experience in a regulated environment with high attention to cyber risk control
