About the Role:

The role is responsible for the delivery and performance of analytic tools and technologies, aligned to the Essity Pricing and Commercial Analytics strategy, which support the efficient achievements of the Professional Hygiene business unit goals.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate operational business understanding and an ability to support the structure of large data solutions and deliver reporting and analytics which enable improved decision-making.

The position will interact with both internal and external customers including but not limited to: IT, Commercial Analytics, Pricing, Finance, Marketing, Business Intelligence and Sales.

What You Will Do:

• Support Essity’s global solution design and technology selection by translating business requirements into clear functional requirements for the overall business intelligence solution
• Be responsible for the creation and manipulation of large databases to transform raw data into business information
• Monitor and secure Data Quality standards of the databases in collaboration with IT and Business
• Conduct complex SQL queries and work with other data extraction, reporting and analytic tools such as Power BI and Power Pivot to develop reports
• Carry out hands-on development of data visualizations, data analyses, and algorithms using BI tools and analytics programming languages including Power BI / DAX / R / Python
• Collaborate with main stakeholders on the efficient use of Bi Tools and how to apply solutions for effective data analytics and visualization
• Support ad hoc report requests and various business needs by collaborating with IT, Commercial Finance, Marketing, Business Development, Business Intelligence and Sales
• Maintain high level of understanding regarding how all areas of the company link together, the needs of the various areas, systems parameters, data limitations and impact on various departments when changes or development work is requested

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in a business or financial field
• Three (3) plus years of business experience, preferably in an Analyst Role
• Microsoft Office, SQL, Power BI, Power Pivot required
• Python, R, Database Management highly preferred
• Experienced in concepts of data capture, extraction, and transformation
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Proven ability to work in a multi-functional team and to manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proven ability to work with higher management
• Proven business acumen, financial knowledge preferred
• Project management skills is a plus
• Ability to travel up to 30%

More about location:

Warsaw is preferable but the role might be based in one of Professional Hygiene hubs in Europe.
