Freelance Java Developer (Financial Sector)

Key Duties and Requirements: A Roadmap to Your Professional Success 🚀

Scope of responsibilities: 

• Actively contribute to the development of new features and enhancements through writing and reviewing high-quality, secure code with comprehensive test coverage,
• Continuously improve the quality and security of applications,
• Promptly and efficiently address production incidents, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity,
• Collaborate with platform engineers to enhance CI/CD pipelines and streamline release processes.

Here’s a set of skills we require:

• 7+ years of Java experience with Spring Boot,
• Knowledge of SQL,
• Experience with Kafka,
• Experienced with REST API development,
• Foundational experience in containerization (Kubernetes),
• Experienced with microservices architecture,
• Experience in the banking/fintech industry,
• Very good spoken and written English (at least B2),
• Very good spoken and written Polish.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in large teams (SAFe SCRUM).

2. Technical interview - during this stage, we conduct a video call with one of our client experts. We evaluate your technical knowledge and experience required for the open position by discussing or solving real problems in the field. Duration is approximately 60-90 minutes.
