As a Software Tester you will be:
- Performing manual testing of new features & releases
- Reviewing project requirements to ensure requirements are testable
- Analyzing test output, identifying discrepancies and clearly documenting defects
- Ensuring that a good quality level of testing is maintained across multiple projects
- Expanding your knowledge in terms of performance/security testing
- Working closely with developers as a member of a scrum team; taking an active part in building and supporting the team (making suggestions, cooperating with other team members closely)
As a Software Tester we expect you to:
- Have basic knowledge of software testing, different testing tools and techniques supporting manual and automated testing
- Have basic idea about the HTTP protocol & web app development cycle
- Have at least 6 months of commercial experience in manual testing
- Be a creative and proactive person
- Be willing to cooperate with others and share both experience & knowledge within the team
- Have excellent communication skills and previous experience working with miscellaneous clients
- Be strongly interested in the IT area: software testing, software development, agile environment
- Be proficient in both written and spoken English - required
It would be really great if you also had:
- Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS and SQL
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins
- Linux terminal skills
- Basic knowledge of performance & security testing
