Network Engineer
You will be responsible for:
- diagnose and resolve complex live network/voice problems, provide critical network/voice architecture support and maintain network communication protocols
- adhering to industry and organizational security compliance standards and best practices (such as PCI DSS)
- specify, design, implement, document, test, troubleshoot and deploy voice solutions
- working with our system administrators and security engineering staff on day to day operations and new project implementations
- assisting in the design as well as review of various voice configurations during the deployment process of solutions as well as periodically perform auditing and testing of infrastructure to ensure the functional and security integrity of our voice infrastructure
We expect:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS
- 5 years experiencevmanaging an Avaya system in a large global call center
- Provide & deliver Pre & Post Sales/Engineering to implement UC solutions that include, Avaya Aura Communication Manager, Session & System Manager, Avaya Aura Contact Center, Avaya IP Office and various UC applications
- Propose, design & implement call flow solutions for client’s contact center & related applications. (IVR and Voice Portal)
- Full understanding of voice delivery methods including SIP, E1’s and PRI’s
- CMS, Verasmart reporting and Knoahsoft recording experience
- Create comprehensive diagrams and number management
- Familiarity with network management protocols
- Knowledge of system and application security vulnerabilities
- CCNP or CCIE certification a plus
- Effective communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
