    About this opportunity


    As a Product Architect (microservices), you will be working in a dynamic environment of ground-breaking product development and technologies. If you have a desire to lead and make a technological impact and contribution to advanced 5G communication services, then the Global Network Platform (GNP) Engineering team is the place to be!

    GNP is global platform to expose advanced 5G capabilities – such as Quality on Demand, speed, latency, and location – through easy to consume network APIs. This will allow developers and enterprises to integrate network features into their applications which will accelerate enterprise digitalization.


    What you will do:


    • Drive the overall GNP architecture to design, maintain, and ensure that the Agile development teams are adhering to the architectural principles of the distributed telecommunications product being developed.
    • Work with product management to have a clear understanding of the business and product requirements to translate these requirements into architectural and system design requirements.
    • Work with the development teams to ensure the scalability, resiliency, and security requirements associated with the architecture are properly implemented and adhered to by the development teams.
    • Document, and maintain the evolution of the architecture. Ensure that system requirements are documented, communicated, and understood by development teams. Ensure that system requirements are prioritized and documented in Jira.
    • Communicate and organize relevant advanced technology session for the development teams.

     


    You will bring:

     

    • Solid recent hands-on experience designing and developing advanced distributed micro-services architectures based on Kubernetes.
    • Proficiency in microservice implementation in distributed applications in a Linux environment.
    • A good grasp on containerization, virtualization, and service orchestration technologies.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies and solutions, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS.
    • Advanced skills in Java and Java-based languages, Spring Boot. 
    • Knowledgeable with web-based and mobile applications with the backend in Linux eco-system.
    • Experience in translating business and technical requirements into comprehensive architecture and software designs.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to efficiently communicate with teams.
    • Experience with using Jira and GitLab in Agile software development environment and culture.
    • Passion for innovation and “can do” attitude.

     

     

    You might also bring (Nice to have):


    • Certifications in public cloud technologies.
    • Knowledge of telecom networks (packet core and radio).
    • Public pet projects showcased on GitHub profile or other media.
    • Knowledge of Python and Golang.
    • ELK, Data analytics, Monitoring.
    • Database (SQL/NOSQL).
    • Internet protocols and security (SSL, HTTP, HTTPS, Certificates).

     

    This role requires work in a hybrid model from Ericsson office in Łódź (2-3 times from the office per week).
