Senior Test Automation Engineer with Python and Azure

We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer with Python and Azure.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Java or Python, with a preference for Python, and will possess a solid understanding of Azure Cloud, specifically Azure Databricks and Data Factory.

Responsibilities

• Leverage your expertise in Python or Java to write, validate, and maintain robust, reusable, and high-quality code
• Execute and create scripts for backend automation to enhance software quality and efficiency
• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud, Azure Databricks, and Data Factory to perform cloud-based tasks effectively
• Perform comprehensive database testing to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and security of the data
• Work closely together with the team to identify, troubleshoot, and document any issues or bugs found during testing
• Propose and implement improvements to enhance the overall efficiency of our testing processes
• Participate in design and code reviews, contributing to the team's continuous learning and improvement

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer
• Proficiency in Python or Java
• Extensive experience with Azure Cloud, specifically Azure Databricks or Data Lake; or with ETL
• Strong knowledge of and experience with database testing
• Experience with backend automation
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to efficiently identify and troubleshoot problems
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team
• Fluent English at a B2+ level
