Junior Java Developer – Java Academy Description
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for enthusiastic, keen to learn IT geeks willing to deepen their Java skills and become effective coders! We’re offering a unique opportunity to join our Java Academy program in our office at EPAM Krakow, run by experienced trainers. You will be able to gain expertise in the field and get exposure to commercial projects know-how. You will have an opportunity to join one of our projects and start working with our clients from various industry sectors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively participating in the Java Academy Program Course
- Daily attendance

Under supervision the candidate:
- Designs and performs development related activities in terms of different applications
- Participates in the full lifecycle delivery
- Manages the daily tasks in the way leading to the knowledge and experience growth
- Manages the technical documentation
REQUIREMENTS
- Working knowledge of Java language (other programming languages are a plus)
- Good spoken and written English – B2 or higher
- Experience in an IT development project, visible contribution to open source, or a portfolio of pet projects demonstrating the knowledge and understanding of Java
- Six months of commercial experience will be a plus
- Full-time, in-person availability (40 hours per week)
- Familiarity with programming tools (Git, Maven, IDE)
THE SELECTION STAGE CONSISTS OF:
- English Test - you can find the test in your profile. Please fill it in within 1-2 days after you register. Candidates with results below B1 will not be considered in the current iteration.
- Online Technical Test - the test is online-based and will be assigned to the candidates with B1+ English level. It lasts 90 minutes. Please pass it within 2 days after receiving it.
- General interview for selected candidates - phone call.
- Technical Exam - offline, full-day, at EPAM office in Gdansk or Krakow.
Once you become a successful candidate, you can be hired at EPAM as Junior Java Developer on a full-time employment contract. You will be paid during the training period. Also, EPAM University provides necessary hardware and software to cater the needs of the students enrolled to this training.
JAVA ACADEMY AGENDA:
- Registration end date: 18 February 2022
- Program start date: 1 March 2022*
- Program duration: 4 months
- Format: offline, full-time in EPAM office
- Location: Krakow or Gdansk
- Salary: participants will be paid during the training period

This training is available only for residents of Poland.
