C++ Development Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced C++ Developer with expertise in low-level C++ development and operations related to AI/ML to join a project for our client, a next-generation computing company specializing in computer architecture, ASIC design, advanced systems, and neural network compilers.

This is a Development Team Lead position within the Accelerator Kernel Development team.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain low-level software components
2. Optimize ML kernels and libraries for machine learning and HPC applications
3. Implement tensor compute and tensor data movement optimization ML kernels
4. Improve the performance and efficiency of software focusing on tensor optimization through low-level code analysis and optimization
5. Collaborate with machine learning engineers and data scientists to seamlessly integrate optimized ML kernels and routines into machine learning frameworks and pipelines
6. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks through performance profiling and strategic solutions
7. Write unit tests, perform detailed debugging, and ensure the stability and reliability of low-level code
8. Conduct low-level optimizations with a focus on tensor computation and optimization
9. Tackle and resolve complex debugging and analysis challenges

Requirements

1. Proficiency in C++ / C programming languages
2. Background in low-level development with emphasis on optimizations and tensor computation
3. Familiarity with machine learning integration processes
4. Strong analytical and debugging abilities for handling complex technical issues
5. Competency in performance profiling and optimization tools
6. Understanding of performance proofing, testing, and debugging
7. Fluency in English

Nice to have

1. Understanding of machine learning frameworks and concepts
2. Knowledge of operating system internals
3. Expertise in GPU programming frameworks like CUDA or OpenCL
4. Skills in parallel programming
5. Background in High Performance Computing
6. Familiarity with Python
