Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and experienced Frontend Developer with React to restructure and enhance our existing website. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on improving user experience, optimizing mobile performance, and preparing the site for our upcoming sales initiatives. This role also involves implementing a multi-language version (translation provided), refining content for clarity, and working on design aspects.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, brings fresh ideas to the table, and has the technical know-how to implement them. You will collaborate closely with the CTO but will have the autonomy to drive your actions and decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Restructure and Enhance Website: Redesign website content for clarity and better user engagement. Implement a clear list of products, demos, and theoretical content to effectively communicate our offerings.
• UX & Mobile Optimization: Improve user experience across all devices, with a strong emphasis on mobile performance.
• Design & Content: Creatively handle both design and content restructuring, ensuring the website is aesthetically pleasing and functional.
• Multi-language Implementation: Add support for additional language versions (translations will be provided if needed).
• SEO Optimization: Enhance SEO to improve website visibility and drive sales.
• Popup and Form Integration: Implement popups for newsletter signups, email capture forms for demo requests, and other lead generation tools.
• Compliance & Legal: Ensure the website meets GDPR and cookie policy requirements. Assist with drafting Terms & Conditions as needed.
• Future Integration: Potential to extend work into developing a web platform for user sign-ins, dashboards, and cloud integrations.

Requirements

• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in React and Next.
• Experience with responsive web design and optimizing websites for both mobile devices and laptops.
• Understanding of SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with integrating external services/APIs (experience with cloud services and Python-based backends is a plus but not required).

Experience:

• Mid-level experience in web development, with a strong portfolio of previous projects (ideally showcasing both coding and design skills).
• Proven track record of working independently and delivering high-quality work.

Soft Skills:

• Creative, detail-oriented, and self-driven.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to report progress and propose ideas.
