The Opportunity:

As a Founding Machine Learning Engineer focusing on Energy Trading, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of energy trading at enzum. Your expertise in quantitative finance and analytics will be instrumental in enhancing our trade desk modelling and integrating these advanced models into our trading and risk platforms.

Your Role:

• Develop and deploy end-to-end Machine Learning solutions, from ideation to execution.
• Design and implement advanced models to maximize profitability, taking into account price fluctuations and asset lifecycle.
• Leverage quantitative finance and data analytics to optimize trade desk modeling, driving data-driven trading decisions.
• Ensure seamless integration of models into our quantitative library and trading/risk platforms, complete with rigorous testing and comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, employing innovative analytics and strategies to tackle challenges and capitalize on market opportunities.

What We Look For:

• Advanced degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in developing and deploying Machine Learning models, with a solid foundation in data analytics.
• Experience with DevOps, Data Engineering, Cloud Solutions, and Data Analysis is advantageous.
• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to Data Science and statistics, particularly Python.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, adept at creating and implementing complex models in a trading context.
• Understanding of energy markets, battery technology, and trading strategy considerations is highly valued.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities, thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
