For our esteemed client in Austria, we're in pursuit of a distinguished expert in test automation. This role emphasizes the necessity for proficient German language skills (B2/C1), alongside the flexibility for bi-weekly travel to Vienna. An understanding or experience with SAP functionalities such as FI/CO, MM, SD, or BASIS will be considered an asset.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and execution of automated testing for both web and mobile applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage from feature to integration testing.
• Conduct automated backend system tests, primarily within Java environments, and manage the seamless transition between various testing phases.
• Develop and implement automated testing for SOAP and REST APIs, enhancing the reliability and efficiency of software solutions.
• Contribute to the creation of Java-based test automation frameworks or software, enriching the testing infrastructure.
• Operate within agile project frameworks, like KANBAN, to maintain a structured, yet flexible approach to test automation.
• Facilitate a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and effective communication among team members.

Skills Required:

• Fluent in German, with several years of experience in test automation of web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, SQL, and familiar with frameworks and technologies like Selenium, Selenide, Appium, and JUnit.
• Experienced with databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and development tools including IntelliJ and Eclipse.
• Competent in using Jira, Confluence, Kibana, Grafana, Jenkins, GIT, and Postman/SoapUI. Familiarity with Cucumber & Gherkin is advantageous.
• Prepared to commit to onsite visits two days per week, integrating closely with teams and projects.

Skills Nice to Have:

• Possession of an ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation
• Level certificate, signifying a recognized proficiency in software testing methodologies and practices.
