For our client in Austria, we are on the lookout for an adept Senior Agile Requirements Engineer. This role requires excellent German language proficiency (B2/C1 level) and the flexibility to travel to Vienna at least bi-weekly. A background in SAP, including knowledge of FI/CO, MM, SD, or BASIS, will be considered

a valuable asset.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Bridge the understanding gap between the client and contractor by comprehensively covering the requirements engineering lifecycle, from collection and documentation to testing, quality assurance, and management.
• Lead the conceptualization of complex IT solutions, ensuring technical and content-related accuracy.
• Actively participate in agile development teams within a scaled software implementation organization, handling both detailed internal analyses and broader cross-team conceptual activities.
• Utilize technical expertise to support diverse tasks across teams, including aiding testers with defect analyses and addressing development-related queries.
• Swiftly grasp complex business or technical challenges, developing specialized knowledge and leading topics as required.
• Engage in backlog prioritization, scope management, and the creation of effort estimates to ensure project alignment with strategic objectives.

Skills Required:

• Fluent in German, with extensive experience analyzing complex IT systems and understanding technical and functional interrelations.
• Proficient in using tools for visualizing and documenting software requirements, such as Jira/Confluence, UML/BPMN, and various office and modeling tools.
• Exceptional analytical, moderation, and presentation skills, combined with strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Solid interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with management, departments, and technical staff.
• Familiarity with agile software development processes and experience working in agile implementation teams.
• Fundamental knowledge of software development and experience with multi-channel distribution systems or similar technological landscapes.

Skills Nice to Have:

• Experience in backend analysis, including REST API and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Understanding of Java, Node.JS, and database technologies like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Prometheus for metrics collection and analysis.
• Competency in English, both spoken and written, to complement German proficiency.
