Intermediate Tester (QA engineer)

Being part of the Software Development team for the DeltaV Process Control System, you will be a member of an Agile Scrum team responsible for testing features developed by the team for the DeltaV Control System. This team focuses on Control Applications, Simulation, Batch, Advanced Control, and Device Data Integration portions of the system.

When joining our team, you will be focused on variety of rich desktop and web applications used for engineering and operating a process control system with the opportunity to also work on embedded real-time software applications running on custom micro-processor based hardware. 

Principle job responsibilities

• Requirements and Acceptance Criteria review, design of test scenarios and strategies
• Performing functional and performance testing
• Preparation of test cases and test scenarios
• Preparation and supervision of the test execution environment
• Analysis of the found errors and filing bugs, creating reports on the performed tests
• Cooperating with a team and supporting them with achieving team goals

Required qualification and experience

• 2+ years of experience on software tester position
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum Team
• Experience with a version control system (eg. git)
• Knowledge of software testing techniques
• Knowledge of documentation tools
• Fluency in English and Polish
• Communication skills

 Nice to have

• ISTQB Foundation
• Experience with API testing
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V
• Knowledge of computer networks
