Senior Reporting Analyst

emagine is looking for a Senior Reporting Analyst to one of our banking clients.

Start: ASAP
End: 2026-10-31 (with possible extension)
Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Essential responsibilities include:

- Drive monthly and quarterly closing and reporting activities

- Perform internal reporting to Group level.

- Perform Regulatory reporting to Finansinspektionen and other authorities

- Cooperate closely with Group Finance team

- Ensure reporting compliance with external and internal reporting requirements

- Close involvement in technical accounting questions, interpretation of accounting standards

Requirements:

- An academic degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience in accounting, audit or similar finance role in a large corportation.
- You have a good awareness of current technical accounting and main reporting requirements under IFRS and Swedish GAP. Interest in learning and working with bank’s regulatory - reporting framework and in the banking industry in general.
- Previous experience in financial industry, bank’s regulatory reporting or larger international group reporting/ consolidation is a major advantage and will help to thrive in this position. 

Expected qualifications include:

- Strong accounting competences, good understanding of main accounting principles and processes 

- Competence to ‘read’ and understand financial statements

- Prior experience in bank’s regulatory reporting is desired, but not mandatory

- Excellent excel skills, expertise in excel formulas and functions commonly used in accounting

- Structured and analytical working approach 

- Ability to prioritize and make quick decisions under pressure

- Strong communication skills and ability to cooperate effectively

- Fluent Swedish and English, both written and speaking

- Real go-getter with a can-do attitude
