ABOUT ROLE:
In this role, you will be responsible for running and managing our Kafka Enterprise Platform with a strong focus on driving platform advancements and collaborating with teams and projects from Germany.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solving day-to-day support issues, incidents and problems.
- Working with a variety of business and technical teams to provide and enhance Kafka services systems and performance monitoring, including trend analysis and respective improvements.
- Regularly reviewing and advancing Kafka services.
- Automation prioritizing and handling workload effectively.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting corporate users in data centre and/or cloud services.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration or a closely related field.
- Experience with administrating an Enterprise Kafka data streaming platform.
- Knowledge of automation, scripting, CI/CD and Container Platforms (or willing to learn).
- Administrative experience with RedHat Linux and providing IT infrastructure services.
