Senior Helix - Advanced Development - Core Platform Development

Summary

We are looking for an experienced BMC Helix Developer with strong expertise in Helix Innovation Studio and Core Platform Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions using BMC Helix Innovation Studio and Core Platform (Helix).

• Configure and customize applications based on business requirements.

• Develop and consume REST APIs for seamless system integrations.

• Build and manage integrations between Helix and external systems.

• Work on Digital Workplace / Digital Workspace implementations and enhancements.

• Write efficient, scalable code using Java and JavaScript.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and architects to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Ensure high-quality deliverables with proper testing, documentation, and best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Helix applications and integrations.

• Participate in design discussions and contribute to platform improvements.

Key Requirements:

• 5–7 years of experience in BMC Helix Innovation Studio / Helix Platform development.

• Strong hands-on experience in Helix Core Platform development and configuration.

• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.

• Experience in building and consuming REST APIs.

• Good understanding of integration patterns and API development.

• Hands-on experience with Digital Workplace / Digital Workspace.

• Strong knowledge of BMC Helix configuration and customization.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with ITSM processes on BMC Helix.

• Exposure to cloud-based platforms and microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience working in Agile environments.
