Senior Business Analyst

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst. This role involves engaging with stakeholders to define requirements and ensuring alignment with technical and architectural standards. Consultants must demonstrate experience in cloud-based systems, project management certifications and have a background in the health or education sectors.

Main Responsibilities

The Business Analyst will oversee the requirements-gathering process and ensure successful stakeholder engagement.

• Lead the requirements-gathering process for the clients system replacement.

• Translate ICT / Cloud Strategy objectives into detailed specifications.

• Ensure technical and architectural alignment.

• Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions.

• Create detailed Business and Requirements specifications.

• Support the clients in solution procurement activities.

Key Requirements

• Cloud-based systems experience.

• Certification in BABOK, IIBA, Agile, or similar frameworks.

• Experience in health or education sector.

• Familiarity with Irish Public Sector framework processes.

• Experience supporting enterprise systems procurement.

Nice to Have

• Experience in digital transformation initiatives.

• Proven ability to create technical specifications.

• Knowledge of data protection and cybersecurity requirements.

• Experience in public-sector ICT frameworks.

Other Details

This role is based in Trim, Co. Meath, and requires 3 days onsite work. It is an opportunity to be part of a team involved in a crucial system replacement project and to contribute to significant public sector improvements.
