Platform Software Engineer (Frontend-leaning) to AI company

emagine is looking for a Platform Software Engineer (Frontend-focused with Golang experience) to join one of the most exciting AI companies in Stockholm.

About the role
You will work on the frontend-facing surfaces of a large-scale application platform that runs AI-generated applications in production. This role focuses on building the interfaces, control planes, and developer experiences that sit on top of complex infrastructure systems.

The platform handles everything required to run applications in production — deployment, authentication, storage, logging, usage metering, and domain management. Your focus will be to make these capabilities accessible, understandable, and safe to use through well-designed UIs, APIs, and abstractions.

You will collaborate closely with backend and infrastructure engineers, translating platform capabilities into intuitive tools that enable rapid development, configuration, and operational insight.

Key responsibilities

• Build and evolve frontend applications and control panels used to manage applications, environments, and deployments

• Design and implement user interfaces for platform configuration, observability, and usage insights

• Collaborate with backend and infra engineers to define APIs and data models for platform features

• Ensure frontend solutions scale with platform growth and increasing system complexity

• Improve developer experience by making infrastructure capabilities easy to understand and hard to misuse

• Contribute to platform reliability by surfacing health, status, and operational signals through UI

• Take part in platform design discussions, balancing usability, security, and system constraints

What we are looking for

• Strong experience building complex frontend applications using React and TypeScript

• Experience working close to backend, platform, or infrastructure systems

• Understanding of how cloud platforms, deployments, and environments work at a conceptual level

• Experience designing frontend solutions for technical or developer-facing users

• Ability to reason about data flow, APIs, and system boundaries

• Product-minded approach with attention to usability, clarity, and long-term maintainability

Nice to have

• Experience building internal tools, admin panels, or control planes

• Familiarity with platform concepts such as environments, deployments, observability, or feature flags

• Experience visualizing metrics, logs, or system state in frontend applications

• Exposure to cloud platforms or DevOps tooling

• Previous experience working in platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling teams
