Network Expert with Strong GCP Knowledge

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a Senior GCP Network Expert with exceptional Terraform skills to lead the evolution of cloud infrastructure for a dynamic and innovative organization. This role is centered around transitioning from legacy networking frameworks to a modern, identity-aware, and automated architecture utilizing the latest tools available from Google Cloud.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior GCP Network Expert, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our client’s cloud networking approach. Key responsibilities include:

• Modern IaC Management: Maintain and enhance high-version modular IaC using Terraform (v1.11+).

• NCC Orchestration: Oversee large-scale hub-and-spoke networks using the Network Connectivity Center (NCC).

• Identity-Aware Security: Implement advanced Network Firewall Policies and Secure Tags.

• Service Connectivity (PSC & GXLB): Expertly configure Private Service Connect for internal services.

• Advanced DNS Architecture: Manage complex DNS systems with advanced policy configurations.

• Secure Egress & Proxying: Complete the implementation of Secure Web Proxy and maintain Linux-level routing.

Key Requirements

• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Networking.

• Strong skills in Terraform, particularly with modular IaC.

• Comprehensive knowledge of NCC, PSC, GXLB, and Cloud DNS.

• Proficiency in TLS inspection, WAF integration, and Zero Trust Networking.

• Solid experience with Linux-level Networking and Network Virtual Appliances (NVAs).

Nice to Have

• Experience with network automation.

• Familiarity with modern network security practices.

• Background in enterprise-level cloud solutions.
