PROJECT DETAILS:

You will develop and design improvements to the processes, procedures, tools, rules and metrics to ensure data integrity of master data domains. Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems. Educate users on master data processes and business rules. Develop data quality reports in BI.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring the quality of master data by identifying and resolving discrepancies, inaccuracies, and duplications.
• Conducting in-depth analysis of master data sets, including data profiling, to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Standardizing and enriching master data to maintain consistency and accuracy across the organization, adhering to established data governance policies.
• Supporting the integration of master data across various systems and facilitating data migration projects by ensuring data mapping and transformation align with business requirements.
• Generating reports on master data quality, completeness, and compliance, and documenting data standards, processes, and best practices for reference and training purposes.
• Collaborating with business units, IT teams, data stewards, senior management, compliance/legal, end users, governance committees, external partners, audit teams, and training/development teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and compliant master data for effective organizational decision-making.

MUST HAVES:

• 5-8 years of overall experience.
• Handling and analyzing large datasets, utilizing tools like SQL, Excel, or specialized data management platforms.
• 1-3+ years of professional experience in data modelling and advanced business analytics.
• Strong Power BI development knowledge.
• 2+ years of SQL and experience with efficient processing of large data sets.
• Proficiency in big data analytics tools (R, Python etc.) and standard analytics packages like SPSS.
• Focus on data accuracy, thoroughness in identifying and rectifying discrepancies, and ensuring high-quality master data.
• Advanced analytical abilities to interpret complex data sets, identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, and derive actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and effectively convey insights or data-related recommendations.
• Ability to approach data challenges strategically, think critically and develop innovative solutions to enhance master data quality and governance processes in designing and building data.
