Java Developer with DevOps tasks

Work model: 100% remote

Rate: up to 230 PLN/h netto + VAT (depending on experience)

Project Length: 6 months + possible extensions

Project Language: English

Start date: ASAP, working mostly in the UK time zone

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creating updates, and migrating a solution from a huge existing code base
• Developing, and testing new applications
• Developing new features
• Migrating servers to a new version
• Performing DevOps tasks and development in Java in a 60:40 split
• Maintaining solutions, performing single refactoring and re-writing legacy code
• Supporting production releases every 2 months (just being ready at the release time to help support and explain things)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Expertise in Java development
• Experience with building pipelines (Jenkins)
• Familiarity with Linux, SSH setup and SSL certificates
• Knowledge of deployment tools such as yatra or similar
• Fluent in English (at least B2+) both writing and speaking
