Java Developer

General Information:

• Location: hybrid (visit the Warsaw office once every two weeks)

• Remuneration: up to 160 PLN/h

Summary: The Java Developer will be integral to enhancing the existing monolithic and microservices architecture, focusing on system scalability and quality through collaborative agile practices.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a monolithic Java application along with multiple microservice applications.

• Collaborate within a scrum team to plan, track, and deliver tasks effectively.

• Implement new features and improve existing functionalities in the system.

• Participate in sprint evaluations to contribute ideas for quality enhancements.

• Build and integrate APIs for various service interactions.

Key Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience as a Java Developer.

• Proficient in Java 8/21.

• Strong skills in Spring, Hibernate, and Maven with experience in large applications.

• Basic understanding of microservices architecture.

• Good knowledge of SQL databases.

• Experience working with GIT and Maven.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Proactive attitude with a passion for learning.

• Experience or knowledge of Apache Kafka.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Spock framework.

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

• Location: Hybrid model with one day in the office every two weeks.
