Data Analyst

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking an IT Analyst who will play a crucial role in bridging business needs and development teams, focusing on delivering high-quality IT solutions in the banking sector. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional SQL knowledge, experience with complex requirements, and a strong analytical mindset. You will be involved in building and rebuilding the Data Platform for the Bank, working closely with stakeholders to design advanced data solutions and manage delivery dependencies within an Agile environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between business needs and developers.

• Contribute to building or rebuilding the Data Platform.

• Engage in working with data products.

• Help design advanced solutions around data and analytics.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand expected outcomes.

• Manage delivery dependencies across teams.

• Work within a cross-functional Agile delivery team.

• Utilize a solution-oriented and analytical approach.

Key Requirements

• Knowledge of SQL - a must.

• Experience with complex requirements.

• Experience in data analysis, data hygiene, and data quality.

• Familiarity with Hive.

• Good communication skills.

• Independence on tasks, features, and user stories.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Understanding of machine learning, CI/CD pipelines, and big data concepts.

Nice to Have

• Python coding skills.

• Experience with Spark.

• 10+ years of relevant experience in data analysis and solution design.

Other Details

This role is located in Poland - Gdynia, with a hybrid work setting (2 days per week in the office). Proficiency in English is required. The consultant should be adaptable to a dynamic working environment within the banking industry.
