PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer/Automation Engineer who will be part of the XaaS Agile Product Team, and responsible for delivering Cloud-based solutions to internal customers. The team's goal is to take us from on-premise to a Cloud-native leader in the pharmaceutical industry. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for delivering the tools needed to speed up the process from concept to manufacture. The team is global and operates as two separate scrum teams, not expecting team members to be online outside of normal business hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement automation using Cloud Formation in AWS and ARM templates in Azure and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Design and develop Test Plans, Test Cases and Automated Test Scripts.
- Document/notify identified defects and help complete further testing and resolve issues.
- Test functionality, performance, and compliance against design specifications to maintain strong development standards.
- Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders throughout the planning and test phases.
- Perform Smoke, Functional, Integration, System, User Acceptance, and Regression testing.
- Analyse test results to detect issues and track root causes.
- Work with Agile methodologies to accomplish milestones and meet demanding timelines.
- Implement test automation procedures.
- Continue development of our in-house automated testing framework.
- Break down user stories by understanding what the stakeholders' needs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Several years of experience in gathering requirements and breaking them down into technical tasks, and then developing the solution.
- Experience as a test automation engineer in IT infrastructure and Cloud Services.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Python.
- Expertise with DevOps methodologies & continuous delivery, in particular when delivered via Azure DevOps
- Comfortable with writing descriptions of operational tasks in English
NICE TO HAVE:
- GxP Knowledge is a plus, but experience from any regulated industry is useful
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) and Software Engineering Master Certification (SEMC) is a plus
