Business Data Analyst (h/f)

Summary: The Business Data Analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between IT and business teams within the Expertise Center Market Analysis, supporting end users with software and data usage. The analyst contributes to the optimization of energy market analysis through functional support on data applications, issue resolution, and user guidance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide functional support on data applications to users

• Manage incidents and communicate with users

• Participate in gathering requirements and writing reports

• Challenge and frame business needs

• Write functional specifications for development teams

• Define test cases and perform application testing (UAT)

• Execute test cases and provide feedback to development teams

• Organize and lead training sessions on deliverables

• Write documentation (user manuals, training materials, FAQs, etc.)

Key Requirements:

• Strong analytical and synthesis skills

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), assertiveness

• Project management experience

• Proficiency in English

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Technical knowledge in Python, Azure DevOps, PostgreSQL

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with commodity markets (Gas, Electricity)

• Experience in data management systems
