Introduction & Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Procure‑to‑Pay (PTP) Functional Team to support and optimize end‑to‑end PTP business processes within an enterprise SAP environment. The focus of this engagement is functional process ownership, configuration, and business support, covering purchasing and accounts payable activities. The team will work closely with business users, process owners, and IT stakeholders to ensure efficient, compliant, and standardized PTP operations.

Main Responsibilities

As part of the SAP PTP Functional team, the core responsibilities will include:

• PTP Process Ownership: Support and improve the full Procure‑to‑Pay lifecycle, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice verification, and payments.

• SAP MM Configuration: Configure and support purchasing and logistics processes relevant to PTP (vendor data, pricing, GR/IR).

• SAP FI (Accounts Payable): Configure and support AP processes including invoice posting, credit memos, payment runs, and period closing.

• MM–FI Integration: Ensure correct financial postings and reconciliation between logistics and finance.

• Business Support: Handle incidents, service requests, and user queries related to PTP processes.

• Requirements & Improvements: Gather and analyze business requirements, propose functional solutions, and prepare functional specifications.

• Testing & Validation: Execute functional testing (unit, integration, UAT support) and validate business scenarios.

• Compliance & Controls: Support audit requirements, process controls, and standard operating procedures.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP Procure‑to‑Pay processes.

• Proven functional expertise in SAP MM and SAP FI (Accounts Payable).

• Solid understanding of MM–FI integration and financial impact of logistics processes.

• Experience working in production SAP environments with business‑critical processes.

• Ability to work closely with business users and translate requirements into SAP solutions.

• Very good communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA PTP / Finance.

• Participation in SAP rollouts, harmonization, or transformation projects.

• Knowledge of global PTP processes or shared service center models.

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori from a functional/user perspective.
