🚀 Data Platform Domain Lead is a role that involves leading and managing a team of data professionals who design, build, and operate data platforms and products for our customers. A perfect candidate typically has a background in data engineering or data management, as well as experience in leading and managing data teams and projects. A Data Platform Domain Lead also needs to have strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, as well as a data-driven mindset and a passion for data innovation.
💡 Responsibilities:
- Reports to Head of Delivery Manage a team based on current employees and new hires depending on requirements
- Ensuring data quality and integrity in projects
- Plan delivery capacity and cooperate with sales department
- Gather customer requirements and prepare work estimation for offers
- Plan roadmap of domain development and handling realization
- Manage internal Center of Excellence initiatives in application development tribe
- Gather best practices, frameworks and standards to provide as much reusable components as possible
- Monitor project pipeline for domain and take actions if required
✅ Requirements:
- 5+ Extensive conceptual and technical knowledge on Analytics, Data Lakes, Lakehouse, Data Warehousing and with architecture frameworks
- 3+ years of experience in leading data solution, project management and team management
- Familiarity with data processing frameworks like SQL, Databricks, Spark, Kafka, as well as cloud services such as Azure or AWS, GCP
- Excellent client facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations
- Experience managing both pre-sales (offering and solutioning), managing the capability and being responsible for the delivery.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical implementation
- Knowledge of enterprise architectures and technology trends, with specific focus on the Microsoft ecosystem
- Working knowledge of English (spoken and written)
- Open minded, self-driven, eager to learn new technologies and put newly acquired knowledge into practice
➡️ Nice to have:
- Understanding of Azure Infrastructure and Deployment
- Experience in Azure Data services, Databricks, Snowflake, MS Fabric
- Familiarity with big data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, and others is important.
