Job description

The project

Support and modify the Learning Management System for the leading North American provider of online financial analyst certification programs with 700,000+ registered students. Help us innovate and scale as we continue to expand and improve our products, design system, websites, and processes.

What you will do

Development of the UI components using JS, jQuery, and Ajax for highly loaded projects (Figma-to-HTML/CSS/JS);
Backend coding for existing and new products (WordPress, e-commerce platforms, and API services)
Implement software best practices like Refactoring, Clean Code, Code Review.
Team up with project managers, developers, testers, and analysts to work collaboratively to deliver modern web applications.

Required skills

At least one year of commercial experience developing PHP/MySQL/HTML/JS applications.
Strong knowledge of Bootstrap, HTML5/CSS3, Less/Sass, JQuery.
Practical usage of front-end development techniques like progressive enhancement, mobile-first development.
API experience (development of API services, integration of different APIs).
Standard knowledge-set: Git, task trackers (Jira, Redmine, etc.), English (tech reading/writing).

It will be great if you

Know something about Blade, Twig, Liquid or similar.
Have e-commerce experience: Magento, WooCommerce, Prestashop.
Know about MVC patterns, have experience with Yii, Laravel, or any other PHP Framework.
Have some Unix administration skills (bash, lemp, nginx).
Can speak some Russian.
