What we need:

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Poznan. Our Candidate needs to have initiative and curiosity, and the desire to learn. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy with a strong focus on maintaining availability and resilience of backend services.

Job duties and responsibilities:

Maintain and monitor our environments in 24/7 rotation system
Cooperate with international teams
Identify and address performance challenges
Document and communicate progress on resolving issues

Must have:

Experience in SRE/SysAdmin, software development, or equivalent role
Experience with Linux shell
Troubleshooting skills to hunt down the root causes of issues and persistence in preventing them from happening again
Experience handling large numbers of diverse systems with configuration management systems like Puppet or Ansible
Good knowledge of both self-hosted and cloud environments (preferably the Google Cloud Platform)
Experience with monitoring tools
Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team structure
Initiative and curiosity
Passion for eliminating repetitive manual processes using automation
Open mind and can-do attitude
Good English skills to effectively communicate about technical matters

Nice to have:

Experience with automation frameworks
Familiarity with at least one of the scripting language: Python/Perl/Ruby
Software development experience
