The opportunity
Egnyte is a product-focused company, not a software outsourcing business. We build and maintain our flagship software: a secure content platform called Egnyte, used by companies like Red Bull and Yamaha.

Large-scale impact
Your job will be to make meaningful contributions to Egnyte Protect, Egnyte’s smart content governance solution. Our team in Kraków is focused on building the content classification features of Egnyte Protect. We analyze hundreds of terabytes of data in order to help companies identify sensitive information in their files.

Your day-to-day at Egnyte:
- Developing system components throughout the all phases of product life cycle
- Designing and developing highly scalable cloud architecture that seamlessly integrate with on-premises systems
- Influencing development strategy and technologies of a global product deployed on hundreds of servers around the world
- Performing root cause analysis of complex problems that may involve third party software, network configurations and software relating to scaling and performance
- Collaborating with other developers, product owners and system QA in bringing releases in a SaaS delivery model
About you:
- You have demonstrated success designing and developing complex solutions and experience owning all aspects of software engineering, from design to implementation, QA and maintenance
- You have significant experience developing designing highly scalable applications from both functional and performance perspective
- You have knowledge of Java, Spring, Junit and databases (preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL),
- You know from experience what TDD is and you worked with Agile methodology,
- You are using software development best practices and you are willing to provide guidance to less senior peers in that area
- You can easily adapt to dynamic environment
- You have bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study
- Bonus points if you have SaaS at scale production experience and worked with public cloud services (GCP/AWS/Azure)
