Job description

Egnyte is a product-focused company, not a software outsourcing business. We build and maintain our flagship software: a secure content platform called Egnyte, used by companies like Red Bull and Yamaha. With 200+ people in Poland, we remain a people-first workplace.

We are looking for a Senior Android developer who will drive the development of our mobile app, where the main challenge lies in serving hybrid access (inc. “smart” management) to content stored on the cloud, company servers, or user local storage. Our Mobile team in Poznan covers all aspects of product design, development, and deployment. The team consists of UI/UX experts, SW developers, QAs, and Product Owner. Stability, performance, and reliability are the main areas we are focusing in order to deliver business value to our customers around the globe. We are working according to agile methodology (selected elements aligned to the team).

Your day-to-day at Egnyte

New features development (SW design & development)
Delivering proven high-quality solutions (unit tests, automation, validation process)
“Shaping” product by direct engagement in the requirements building process
“Adjusting” mobile app by production monitoring (crashes, usage, deployment rate, network traffic, etc)

What skills are we looking for?

Proven Java and Kotlin development skills
Knowledge of common frameworks and libraries of Android world like Retrofit 2, RxJava and Dagger 2
Knowledge of Espresso and UIAutomator
Familiarity with REST APIs, mobile security best practices, web services and SQLite.
Strong knowledge of related CS theory: MVP, OOP, threading
