Hello!
At Egnyte we are looking for Mid/Senior Android Engineer who will drive development of our mobile app, where the main challenge lies on serving hybrid access inc. "smart" management to content stored on the cloud, company servers or user local storage. Our Mobile team in Poznan covers all aspects of product design, development and deployment.
We are adding new features as well as monitoring production in order to adjust our app to be intuitive and scalable due to constant growth of active users.
The team consists of UI/UX expert, developers, QAs and Product Owner.
Stability, performance and reliability are the main areas we are focusing in order to deliver business value to our customers around the globe. We are working according to agile methodology (selected elements aligned to the team).
Things you'll do on a daily basis:

Things you'll do on a daily basis:
- New features development (SW design & development)
- Delivering proven high quality solutions (unit tests, automation, validation process)
- "Shaping" product by direct engagement in requirements building process
- "Adjusting" mobile app by production monitoring (crashes, usage, deployment rate, network traffic, etc)
- Delivering scalable systems
What skill are we looking for?
- Significant experience in developing Android apps
- Knowledge of common frameworks and libraries of Android world like RxJava, Dagger 2, Mockito
- Familiarity with REST APIs, mobile security best practices, web services and SQLite.
- Experience in writing unit and functional tests
- Strong knowledge of related CS theory: MVP, OOP, threading
...and as a bonus:
- Knowledge of Kotlin
- Experience in development of scalable cloud solutions where priority is put on performance and stability
- Experience in production monitoring, knowledge of tools and systems
