Egnyte is a US based company with an Engineering team in the City of Poznan since 2012. We are looking for the best QA talent who will join our team. Egnyte Connect is our core product. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain and execute tests for Egnyte backend applications
- Working closely with international teams to understand product requirements, architecture and technology
- Identifying, analyzing, and documenting bugs
- Cooperate with developers to resolve issues
- Actively participate in software lifecycle
Skills - Experience and Requirements:
- Performing manual tests on backend using rest API calls
- Ease of work in unix systems including advanced usage of console
- Creating and executing test cases and building test plans
- Knowledge about different testing methodologies - functional and nonfunctional
- Keen eye for detail and out of the box thinking
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- Willingness to learn and gain new skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in testing backend
- Communicative (well spoken and written) English skills
Nice to have:
- Experience in writing backend automation tests with Python
- Knowledge about SQL
- Knowledge about testing distributed systems
- Experience with working in distributed-location environments
- Knowledge about scale, performance and security testing
