Job description

We’re looking for a talented Security Engineer with high communication skills, eager to collaborate with software engineers to help them deliver secure by default products. This is a full-time position that can be done 100% remotely anywhere in Poland after onboarding process in Poznań office (from 3 to 6 weeks).

Job duties and responsibilities:
  • Implement necessary processes, tools, policies & practices for maintaining the highest level of security through SDLC;
  • Conduct regular penetration tests, ​and code reviews of our products to​ detect all potential vulnerabilities ​ and provide security reports with recommended mitigations;
  • Generate security testing reports to provide evidence about security state of Releases;
  • Facilitate collaboration with other Engineers, Product Managers, and Leaders to incorporate Security thinking across Teams;
  • Mentoring & ​Providing training to​ Software Engineers on Security Best Practices and Awareness;
  • Develop and own security incident management activities;
  • Work closely with Product Development teams to implement and maintain necessary security vulnerability checks/scans throughout the SDLC process;

Skills - experience and requirements:
  • Strong experience in software development, auditing code and features
  • Security expertise in Java language
  • Proven ability to work with developers and ensure releases are secure throughout the SDLC
  • Deep understanding of Security design Architectural patterns
  • Driven and internally motivated to defend the online privacy of our users
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical partners
  • Ability to work with multi-cultural, globally distributed teams and closely coordinate with cross-functional teams in different time-zones in English
