We’re looking for a talented Junior Product Security Engineer with high communication skills, eager to collaborate with software engineers to help them deliver secure by default products.
Your day-to-day at Egnyte
- Conduct regular penetration tests, and code reviews of our products to detect all potential vulnerabilities and provide security reports with recommended mitigations;
- Implement necessary processes, tools, policies & practices for maintaining the highest level of security through SDLC;
- Perform ad-hoc security testing and threat-modeling for Agile Development Teams;
- Work closely with Product Development teams to implement and maintain necessary security vulnerability checks/scans throughout the SDLC process;
- Performing Java, JavaScript or Python code reviews
About you
- Security expertise in auditing either one of the following: Java/Python/Node.js/ObjectiveC/Swift/Go languages and frameworks
- Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25 frameworks
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical partners
- Understanding of security design architectural patterns
- Driven by challenges and internally motivated to be the best hacker you can become :)
- Good English skills (B1/B2) to effectively communicate about technical matters
