The opportunity
Egnyte is a product-focused company, not a software outsourcing business. We build and maintain our flagship software: a secure content platform called Egnyte, used by companies like Red Bull and Yamaha.

Large-scale impact
Your job will be to make meaningful contributions to Egnyte Protect, Egnyte’s content governance solution. Our team in Kraków is focused on building content classification features of Egnyte Protect. We analyze hundreds of terabytes of data in order to help companies identify sensitive information in their files.

Your day-to-day at Egnyte:
- Developing system components throughout the whole product lifecycle. Your task will be to build user interfaces that are usable and informative. In order to do that, you’ll need to combine and process data from different parts of the system.
- Influencing the development strategy and technologies of a global product deployed on hundreds of servers around the world
- Performing root cause analysis of complex problems that may involve third party software, network configurations, or scaling and performance software
- Collaborating with UX specialists, other developers, product owners and system QA experts in bringing releases in the SaaS delivery model
About you:
- You have demonstrated success designing and developing complex solutions and owning all aspects of software engineering, from design to implementation, QA and maintenance
- You have significant experience developing and designing highly scalable applications from both functional and performance perspectives
- You have knowledge of ES6+, HTML5, CSS3
- You have experience with the React ecosystem (our stack is based on React, Redux, Webpack)
- You know from experience what TDD is and you have worked with Agile methodology,
- You can easily adapt to a dynamic environment
- You have a good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Bonus points if you have SaaS at scale production experience and worked with public cloud services (GCP/AWS/Azure). We’ll also appreciate your knowledge of testing frameworks and practices (jest, cypress.io, selenium web driver, unit tests, e2e)
