About the Team and Product you’ll be working with:

We are a team working on the Front-end of Egnyte’s core product Connect - a smart content collaboration platform enabling users to securely work with, share and work on files all over the world. Always trying to provide best user experience combining technology and business value, we deliver a product used by largest companies on the market. We are looking for a talented Front-end Software Engineer with strong product ownership and exceptional skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Building a scalable and maintainable product used by over 350 thousands of users every day
Collaborating with other Front-end developers to design, architecture and implement business logic needs
Be part of a professional team collaborating with QA and backend developers
Close cooperation with UX designers and product owners to bring state of the art Front-end experience of a product.
Come up with your own ideas of a product enhancement and productivity boost

Must Have:

Minimum 2 years of professional experience
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
Experience with at least one of modern JavaScript frameworks: React, Redux/Mobx, Vue.js, AngularJS, Ember
Theoretical and practical knowledge of programming design patterns
Team player attitude
Sense of product ownership

Nice to Have:

Production experience with highly scalable on-demand applications (SaaS)
Knowledge of scalable design principles
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari and IE 11
Technical background not only limited to the Front-end technologies
Experience in functional test automation
