Job description

What you will do

  • Work on the user-facing web application that’s at the core of our business as part of the Product Team
  • Be involved in the whole development cycle: Designing, implementing and testing functionality, as well as deploying and monitoring it in production
  • Build and expand on interesting use cases like live synchronization between browsers and in-browser whiteboards
  • Work closely with our customers to identify their needs and create the best possible experience for them
  • Evolve our infrastructure according to the needs of our growing user base
  • Work with a modern tech stack including technologies like Angular, GraphQL and Kotlin
  • Keep tabs on new technologies that could improve our product

Our expectations

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in professional software development and can see a development project through from end to end
  • You have a solid understanding of the nuances of web-app development, especially regarding browser performance and accessibility
  • Clean and maintainable code is as important to you as building a great experience for the people using your software
  • Not required, but bonus points for already knowing and appreciating the value of static types in languages like TypeScript and Kotlin
  • You embrace the idea of being a life-long learner, always questioning the status quo and finding better ways of doing things
  • You are excited about sharing your knowledge, skills, and cool things you learn about with others
  • You are not necessarily a Jack-of-all-trades, but you have no fear of being in regular contact with all facets of software delivery, including the design of APIs and databases as well as deploying and monitoring your code in production
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English. Being fluent in German is not required!
