Role purpose:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP-DS) Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for taking part in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, focusing on production planning and detailed scheduling within manufacturing environments. Join us in this central position within Global IT, where you will collaborate with colleagues across the

globe to empower our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the survey of the company's business processes to understand requirements.
• Assist in developing blueprints for production planning processes, specifically PP/DS.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers in developing Functional Design Documents (FDD).
• Configure SAP S/4HANA for production planning processes, with a focus on PP/DS setups and integrations.
• Test developments and configurations to ensure functionality and alignment with requirements.
• Conduct functional testing and provide support during the testing phase.
• Develop user instructions and documentation for PP/DS processes.
• Participate in end-to-end testing phases and provide support to related functional teams.
• Assist in the go-live process and provide post-launch support.

Requirements:

• 4+ years SAP experience, specializing in PP/DS and production planning, with practical experience in SAP AFS, FMS, or S/4HANA Fashion
• Led 2+ full-cycle PP/DS projects as a lead consultant in the manufacturing sector.
• Recommended experience with MES/shop floor control system integration.
• Strong understanding of Fiori platform's applications in PP/DS and solid knowledge of PP/DS functionality within S/4HANA.
• Proficient in ABAP for enhancements, custom report development, and SAP HANA for performance optimization
• Cross-functional experience with SAP modules like PP and MRP.
• Experience in managing the lifecycle of production orders, including creation, scheduling, releasing, confirming, closing orders and performing capacity planning activities.
• Ability to analyze business processes and suggest improvements within the scope of SAP PP/DS
• Analytical skills, project participation experience, user training, and support abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members, business owners, and end-users.
• Quality and deadline oriented.
• Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.
