Job description

Scope of responsibilities:

  • Provides support for MS SQL environments in EMEA region
  • Responsible for MS SQL backup process in strong cooperation with Backups Specialist 
  • Prepares technical documentation, specifications, templates and procedures
  • Solves the problems related to the MS SQL in line with SLA
  • Responsible for improvements proposals, security standards and innovations
  • Participates in a multinational and multidisciplinary projects

The ideal candidate will have:

  • University degree in computer science or related
  • Strong experience with MS SQL environment (2008 R2/2012 2014 2016), SQL Servers Administration, Middleware, knowledge of T-SQL, Integration Services
  • Experience in environment migration is a plus
  • Experience in using IT Security in corporate environment with knowledge of ITIL process
  • Minimum 2 year experience in IT, of which at least 1 year experience of working on with MS SQL Server 
  • Overall knowledge of systems and information technology
  • Experience as project team player
  • Experience in leading and coordinating projects is a plus
  • Windows scripting experience (VBScript, PowerShell) is a plus
  • Reporting Services, Analysis Services, Power BI is a plus
  • Fluent English
