Application Services Global Delivery Poland located in Warsaw offers software development and maintenance services to DXC Technology customers all over the world. Poland Center focuses on Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence, Web Solutions, SAP R/3 and SAP BW implementation, Application Management, Quality Assurance & Testing, Business and Systems Analysis. Most of GDAS Poland Center employees hold multiple certifications from Oracle, Sun, Microsoft, SAP, OBI, ISEB, ISTQB, ITIL, CMMI, PMP and Six Sigma.

T-SQL Developer
Job location: Warsaw or remote
The successful candidate will work within Analytics practice and be mainly responsible for SQL development of new solutions and/or enhancements to business applications. The work will be delivered for a strategic multinational customer from the logistics sector and will focus on a large scale archiving solution.
The scope of responsibilities will cover the delivery of concept creation around service optimization and automation. The role will focus on the design and implementation of complex solutions, based on MS SQL server and collaboration with developers to optimize database usage. The successful candidate will work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop SQL Server solutions that work within the technical boundaries.
The work packages will be defined in direct agreement with business users on the customer’s side. Responsibilities will include involvement in the delivery of last level support for incident and problem resolution, implementation of fixes, development and release of approved changes based on customer requirements and needs.
We require:
- university degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.),
- at least four years of working experience as a Developer, DevOps Specialist or IT support team member
- solid knowledge of T-SQL
- good understanding of Database Design, Integrity and optimization process
- experience in managing SQL Server databases, configuring and maintaining database servers and processes
- experience in tuning the performance of servers and databases
- experience in creating and analyzing complex queries, store procedures, tables, views, triggers, functions, SQL Jobs
- understanding of JAVA/J2EE code
- fluent written and spoken English

- professional and responsible approach to work with customer focus
