Analytics Global Delivery Poland, a large, growing delivery center located in Warsaw, offers high-quality Applications/Platforms Development and Management Services to DXC customers all over the world. The Center’s portfolio covers the full software lifecycle, including Business and Systems Analysis, Development, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Testing and Support. The main technology focus is on Cloud, Big Data, Business Intelligence, Web and mobile solutions, ERP and CRM systems. DXC invests in multiple certifications for its employees, both technical (eg Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SAP), and managerial (PMP, ITIL).
We are currently looking for:
Business Intelligence / Power BI Architect
Job location: Warsaw / remote
The Business Intelligence (BI) Architect is responsible for building, implementing, and supporting reporting solutions for our enterprise clients. The right individual will possess experience in all stages of BI project work (requirements and logical design, physical design, implementation, testing, and deployment). The PBI Architect should have a firm grasp of BI implementation methodologies and will have had in-depth experience with the Microsoft Power BI stack.
Key responsibilities:
- Architect, design and develop end to end business intelligence solutions based on the Microsoft Power BI platform.
- PowerShell scripting experience of 2-3 years in creating automation jobs on Azure
- Good Knowledge of Report Optimization Techniques, DAX performance optimization tools
- Experience in extracting and loading data from REST APIs
- Power BI Dashboard and Report development experience
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI architecture and other Enterprise BI tools architecture
- Experience in Power BI Capacity Administration.
- RDBMs, Datawarehouse modelling skills, preferably experience on MS SQL tools
- Work with clients to define user requirements for web systems, dashboards and reports. Analyze user requirements and, based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications
- Define BI framework model, semantic layers and Metadata repositories to support reporting and administration
- Develop and manage BI end-user presentation layer training and documentation.
We require:
- Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering (or equivalent)
- 10+ years (Architect) & 5+ yrs (Developer) of IT experience with a key focus on Power BI Dashboard & Reports Architecting, Designing & Development
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in relational database concepts and flat file processing concepts
- Must be knowledgeable in software development lifecycles/methodologies i.e. Agile & DevOps
- Has strong presentation and collaboration skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation
- Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills
