Application Technical Owner
Job location: Warszawa
Successful candidates will join a delivery organization providing Applications Management Services to one of DXC global customers. The services scope will be application technical support, consultation, management of ITSM processes as well as contribution to software design.
We are looking for experienced candidates aiming to build a healthy mix of seniority and technology skills in the team.
Job responsibilities of this role will include:
- Maintenance of application’s ETL engine based on UNIX shell scripts and Oracle pl/sql
- Maintenance and setup of application’s scheduler
- Maintenance of application’s interfaces with other downstream and upstream systems (i.e. SAP)
- Incident and Problem Management – resolving incidents and problems from application’s area which will require technical competencies and knowledge on business and application’s logic (L3 support)
- Participation in the project work as consultant/IT engineer
- Searching root causes and related service improvements, having holistic approach to the provided service
- Provide effective communication to the leadership and the customer
We require:
- Working experience in IT, preferably in technical support or development areas
- Good knowledge in below technologies:
- Databases and ETL: Oracle DB proficiency, SQL, PL/SQL
- Operating systems: Linux or/and UNIX, bash, pearl, and shell commands
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Flexibility and being open to new type of tasks, depending on the current needs
- Teamwork and ability to work under pressure
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Strong communication skills
- Proactiveness: looking for root causes, recommending improvements
