About The Role

We are expanding our Professional Services team in Wroclaw, Poland to partner with our clients to transform their post-trade operations control framework, by accelerating their adoption of Duco to solve their business challenges. 


You will be a trusted customer partner, helping our clients to understand their data needs, and data challenges, capture requirements, and build new workflows, analytics, and solutions for operational controls. Your expertise will enable us to find solutions that help clients go faster, make better decisions, and overcome problems while building their knowledge so that in the future they can do more themselves. You will be a billable asset, involved in multiple simultaneous projects with a variety of clients.

What you will be working on 

  • Understanding the scope, nature, context, and purpose of the opportunity
  • Creatively solving data problems and developing an understanding of the platform
  • Collaborating with clients and internal colleagues to successfully deliver solutions 
  • Documenting requirements to successfully building workflows, reconciliations, and operational controls in the Duco platform
  • Configurating and testing reconciliations and workflow rules 
  • Capturing blockers and challenges, communicate with and bring in other teams when needed
  • Providing knowledge transfers, and supporting development queries


Ideally, you will have

  • 2-3 years of experience in the financial or SaaS software services industry, with knowledge and experience in operations or control functions. 
  • Ability to comfortably present to individuals or groups at all levels of the organization and to customers
  • Experience working within an agile project management framework to deliver projects, take accountability for your time, provide status updates, etc.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, and working with senior team members to obtain information.
  • Basic understanding of financial products and the financial industry. E.g.: Trades, valuations, collateral, payments, asset classes such as Equities, Interest Rates, FX, Credit, etc.
  • Experience working with data formats. E.g.: CSV, tab-delimited, XML.
  • Comfortable using technology and advanced software tools.
  • Experience in unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support of user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Good documentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable with respectfully challenging the norm, and offering alternative approaches to solving problems
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies, understand business processes, and adapt to a fast-paced growing company.
  • Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with databases (e.g. read entity-relationship E-R diagrams) is a plus
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (E.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense/QlikView) ia an advetage
  • Experience in the configuration/implementation of complex reconciliation systems, such as TLM or iMatch would be also beneficial
