DSV’s well established Automation Team is looking for a candidate who will be able to drive development for operation teams that are using the warehouse automation solutions across the world.

Developer you are responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of our tailor-made tooling / functionalities complementing the DSV Warehouse Management solution. This position fits within a larger global organization focused on delivering best in class products in support of DSV customers and related business units.  From warehouse automation to the warehousing at its most basic form, this position will span the spectrum of solutions and versatility

TASKS:

• Design, develop and maintain WMS and related applications according to set standards.
• Identify and specify required changes on applications.
• Support testing plans, scenarios, and secure successful execution.
• Validate, test, and accept version/releases of software.
• Effectively collaborate with (project) team members, stakeholders, key-users and DSV management.
• Document the project and application landscape and configuration to secure that proper support can be delivered.
• Identify, report and follow-up on issues.
• Train junior/mid developers
• Setting up the course for technical stack used across the team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Oracle DB proficiency
• Advanced Programming in PL/SQL
• Mid Programming in T-SQL
• Work with Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, GIT
• Analytical skills
• Ability to learn at fast pace
• Ability to document Projects, Testing and development/change
• Overall awareness regarding IT back/frontend tech stack 
• English skills allowing everyday collaboration across multinational team

As a plus: 

• Understanding of Logistics processes
• Understanding of WMS software

Other Skills

• Problem-solving, critical thinking, deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning, and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate technical to a non-technical audience; 
• Structured and able to work against deadlines
