Job description

Who is our client?

Our Client is Cracow company which is currently building a huge e-commerce platform dealing with 4 new users per minute, +2k transactions per second and selling over 1 billion articles per year.

On the frontend side, we can find JavaScript with React based on Node.js servers.
On the backend, they are using Java 8 + microservices, Vert.x, rxJava and Polyglot Persistence approach.
As per the infrastructure, everything is based on AWS, Kubernetes, Ansible, CloudFormation, Docker, Packer, Immutable infrastructure.

They are based in Cracow. They allow some sporadic remote work (usually 1 or 2 days a week), but the bulk of the work is to be done in the office with the rest of the team.

Who are we looking for?

For the new project position, we are looking for passionate and experienced JavaScript engineer who:

  • has a deep understanding of JavaScript language,
  • knows frameworks/libraries like Angular or React
  • has knowledge on node.js servers
  • has an in-depth understanding of modern web technologies, distributed and async programming,
  • has an experience in analyzing and implementing solutions for challenging business requirements,
  • can use their experience to continuously improve the resilience and performance of this business-critical applications,
  • can speak fluent English.

Technical screening on Skype (30-40 minutes)
