Imagine being part of the revolution, part of what is beyond retail, media and social. Now it is your chance! We are looking for a Re Java Developer to join the most exciting project in Krakow. Their mission is to bring customer experience to a very another level. Personalization of the content is a key to be a number one in video commerce, e-commerce and a mobile commerce nowadays. Most of their business is in the US right now (that is why they have over 500 tech people on board there). They have offices in China, Japan, UK, Italy, France, Germany and right now in Krakow, Poland.
You will be:
- Building and maintaining a global payments platform for one of the biggest e-commerce platforms in the world
- Developing and maintaining new Java-based services and APIs with varying complexity and scope
- Developing feasibility analyses and providing input to software design and architecture
- Participating in CI/CD implementation for the product (including establishing code quality practices, establishing test automation practices)
- Ensuring very high code quality and compliance with standards
What should you have:
- At least 3 years of commercial experience in a similar position
- Good knowledge of the development of Restful APIs and services, as well as in integration with relational databases (MS SQL Server and Oracle preferred)
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
- Experience in agile software development with as many of the following Java frameworks and technologies as possible:
- Spring Boot
- Sprint Integration
- Spring MVC
- Spring Config
- Spring Cloud, Eureka and Netflix Stack
- Good knowledge of English in speaking and writing
- Work experience in IT finance, banking or fintech sectors is a plus
